The City Blitz, City Blitz Pickup and City Blitz Van have a range of 150km. The City Buzz 1 has a range of 100km and the City Buzz 2 has a range of 120km.
You can charge your EV Africa from any standard 220V outlet.
Charge time is dependent on the battery depletion status. From empty the charge time is between 4 to 6 for City Blitz vehicles and 2 – 3 hours for the City Buzz bikes.
Our lithium battery system will be fine for 1,500-2,000 full cycles.
The City Blitz, City Blitz Pickup and City Blitz Van require a full, valid SA driving license.
The City Blitz, City Blitz Pickup and City Blitz Van have a maximum speed of 80km/h and are intended for inner city and suburban roads. Although recommended to stick to inner city and suburban roads, City Blitz, City Blitz Pickup and City Blitz Van can be driven on all South African roads.
The City Blitz, City Blitz Pickup and City Blitz Van can traverse a maximum of 20 degrees in inclination. The City Buzz 1 and City Buzz 2 can climb a maximum of 25 and 23 degrees respectively.

All EV Africa electric passenger vehicles are built to the highest vehicle segment specification and feature a monocoque cage structure integrated into the vehicle body, as well as impacting absorbing construction, providing excellent rigidity, strength, and safety in the event of a rollover or collision – on par with any other regular passenger car.
The City Blitz, City Blitz Pickup and City Blitz Van have an equivalent running cost of 13 cents per kilometre.
